American Soprano Alexandria Wreggelsworth is fast building an impressive portfolio of operatic roles. She recently received an Artist Diploma from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD) and is a Mascarade Opera Studio Young Artist.

Most recently, Alexandria has performed Tatyana in Eugene Onegin with The People’s Opera and Oxford Alternative Orchestra (Oxford), Mimì in La bohème for Cyprus Opera Studio (Nicosia), was the soprano soloist in Verdi’s Requiem with the London Dockland Singers (London), and has performed the title role of Suor Angelica for both LunchBreak Opera (London) and Love to Sing Opera (Provence).

Alexandria also has been seen in many opera scenes and other full opera productions, which include roles such as Agathe (Der Freishütz), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Salud (La Vida Breve), Alice (Falstaff), Lady Billows (Albert Herring), Female Chorus (Rape of Lucretia), Elettra (Idomeneo), Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas), First Lady (The Magic Flute), and the Plaintiff (Trial by Jury).

Alexandria has also been seen in several song concerts, including an array of song recitals throughout Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Barbican Centre, Oxford University, Song in the City, and the St. Marylebone Festival.
