Biography

Danny Leclerc – Tenor

M. Leclerc voice distinguishes itself by its rich timbre but yet luminous. His ease in the upper
register, his stamina, his fine musicianship, his sentitivity, his natural presence on stage and his acting skills
make him a solid and complete artist. Hes voice is particulate suited to the french repertoire, and to Verdi
and Puccini. Also including in his repertoire are the great Oratorios and Requiems, such as Verdi Etc.
His interpretation of Kalaf in turandot and Verdi Requiem have been highly praised in Canadian and
American stages.
M. Leclerc is interested in modern music as well and has been honored to premier many role in new
operas.

Like many artists all over the world, Covid-19 affected and/or cancelled engagements, Many Of M.
Leclerc’s engagements were either postponed or cancelled altogether bacause of the pandemic. (Opera
Quebec, Opera de Montreal, Canadian Oprera amore to name a few.

Upcoming engagements include: Tosca, Verdi Requiem, Cavellera rusticana and Die Walküre.
