I have been singing at the Maribor Opera House for over 10 years. After debuting in the chorus, I quickly began to sing bigger roles. All in all I have sung 26 roles with the Maribor Opera House. These include Rosalinde from Die Fledermaus, Norina from Dona Pasquale, Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady, Frasquita from Carmen, Amor from L’Incoronazione di Poppea, Suor Genoveffa and Nella from Il Trittico, Anna from Nabucco as well as many others, including severa roles in newly written children’s operas. I have also performed at the Ljubljana Opera House as Madame Herz in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor. I have toured Japan twice, once as Frasquita in Carmen and once as Sacerdotessa in Aida. I have also performed in the Oderzo Open Air Opera performance and the Zagreb Biennale at Zagreb Opera House. Concert performances include those in Austria, Italy, Slovenia, and Canada.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Carleton University in Ottawa where I graduated with Highest Honours as a piano performer. As a teenager I was employed by the Augburgtheater in Vienna where I played several roles in Molnar’s play Die Jungen der Paulstrasse.
