Bass-baritone from Russia Mikhail Biryukov made his concert debut in 2016 at the Moscow International House of Music with the London Handel Orchestra. He has since performed with various orchestras and has worked with famous conductors such as Vladimir Spivakov, Luciano Acocello and Alessandro d’Agostini.
Mikhail graduated from the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre in Moscow, where he studied with Elena Zaremba. From 2013 to 2016 he performed all the main parts of the Opera studio at the Centre.
From 2016 to 2020, Mikhail collaborates with renowned conductors such as Vladimir Spivakov, Dmitry Jurowski, Gennady Dmitryak, Evgeny Shestakov, Alessandro d’Agostini, Luciano Akochella, Claudius Traunfelner and others.
During this time, Mikhail performed on the main stages of Russia with such famous orchestras as the London Handel Orchestra, Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Tyumen Philharmonic Orchestra and others.
Also, during this time, Mikhail becomes the winner of all kinds of vocal competitions and festivals. Here are some of them:

In February 2020, Mikhail took an active part in the Master Class of the Grammy winner, world-famous bass Ildar Abdrazakov.
Since 2020, Mikhail has been studying at the Royal College of Music Opera Studio.
In November 2020, Mikhail takes part in the recording of opera scenes at the Opera Studio, where he successfully performs the roles of Don Giovanni and Calchas.
Also, in November 2020, Mikhail took active part in the Master Class of the world-famous British baritone, Commander of the Order of the British Empire Mr. Thomas Allen.
